Accessibility
A site nobody can use is a site that doesn’t work. Here is the standard we build to, what is done, and what isn’t yet.

The standard we build to
That standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of the craft, not a checklist bolted on at the end.
What is in place
Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator in a brand colour rather than the browser default.
Body and interface text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast minimum against the page ground, and interactive states were measured rather than eyeballed. The lowest opacity used for interface text is 65%, which computes to 5.24:1. Lower values appear only inside the decorative practice illustrations, which are incidental text within a picture and are hidden from assistive technology.
Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion: animation is disabled and scroll-driven effects stop entirely, with no loss of information.
Headings follow a logical order, banner/main/contentinfo landmarks are used properly, and a skip link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches — and it lands past the navigation, not in front of it.
Form fields have real labels, errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone, and inputs are sized to avoid zoom-on-focus on iOS.
Interactive targets are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels — the WCAG 2.2 minimum — measured on every page at phone width rather than assumed. Links inside a running sentence are exempt, as the standard allows.
Known limitations
The practice pages include animated illustrations. They are decorative, hidden from assistive technology, and carry no information that is unavailable as text — but they may still be visually busy for some readers.
We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit. When we do, this page will say who performed it and what it found.
Tell us if we’ve got it wrong
If any part of this site is difficult to use, email hello@vantic.com.au and describe what happened. A person will read it and reply, and we will fix genuine barriers rather than explain them away.
